The
Department of Wood Science & Technology provides
an education of technology on wood utilization with an
offering the various majors of engineering that are related
to wood industry such as; Industrial Technology Engineering,
Machinery Engineering, Construction- Engineering, Electronic-Engineering,
Agricultural Engineering. The pulp and Paper Technology
has been supplying wood industry as well as the pulp and
paper demanded by various sectors of the government and
non-government organizations in related fields. |

The wisely utilization of wood and non-wood forest
product can be a reducing the lack of pulp and paper
production. Moreover, it can be a decreasing the
creation of pollution by pulp and paper producing
in the future. The students who attend the courses
can gain practical skills from real situation in
the factories.
There are 3 majors in the Department of Wood
Science & Technology. These are Wood Science,
Wood Technology, and Pulp and Paper. All these
majors are developing and improving the quality
of the production, along with other sectors of
industries that have been using the wood as a
raw material.
