The
Department of Silviculture is functional in education,
process and management concerning the vitality, the growth,
the production, the component, and the quality of woods,
in natural forest, in plantation as well as in agro-forestry
area. These subjects are focusing on the theories, the
principle, and the technology of forestation and its treatment. |

In addition, the forest trees improvement,
forest soil management, forest tree nutrition, forest
fire management, and forest protection, have been
applied to natural forest management, plantation,
and urban green space. All issues are beneficial
to maximize in a dimension of sustainable utilization,
together with preservation the environmental quality.
The Department of Silviculture is allocated into
3 majors, which consist of Silviculture, Forest
Tree Improvement, Forest Fire and Forest Soils. |
